Abstract
This work analyzes the criticism of international law as law. The author draws attention to those arguments of the deniers of international law that were formed back in the 19th century: the lack of power over states, the lack of a developed mechanism for forcing compliance with norms and the inefficiency of international justice. The author analyzes the arguments from the point of view of the current state of the science of international law. It is concluded that the denial of international law as law is unreasonable.
