Abstract

The research object in this scientific article is the family institute in international human rights law. International human rights law is one of the branches in the system of modern international law. The article discusses theoretical (conceptual) and practical problems of understanding and protecting the family from the perspective of international human rights regime, which is important in adequately presenting this historically established social institute to the audience. To achieve this goal, the provisions of the UN Charter were considered, which laid the conceptual and normative foundations of the current international universal system of
human rights protection, one of the objects of regulation of which is the family institute.
