Political and legal foundations of international interaction of the EAEU states

Abstract

This study is devoted to the consideration of the scientific hypothesis about the strengthening of the role of regional international organizations (using the EAEU as an example) and the modification of the world order taking into account geopolitical features. The aim of the study is to study the political and legal foundations of international cooperation between the EAEU states, as well as to identify the features of the functioning of cooperation mechanisms between member states aimed at harmonizing legislation, creating uniform standards and rules, and eliminating barriers to the free movement of goods, services, capital and labor.

The scientific and practical significance of the study lies in the fact that the data, conclusions and proposals contained in the study can be used in the preparation of monographs, textbooks, methodological recommendations and specific proposals.

The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical-materialistic method of cognition, within the framework of which such special methods as formal-logical, system-structural, historical-legal, comparative-legal were applied. The geo-economic approach was also used in the study.

The main conclusions and value of the research work are that the key goals of the EAEU were established, which are expressed in protecting the economic interests of member states through the development of a common market, ensuring fair competition and preventing discriminatory measures. The political and legal foundations of international cooperation between the EAEU states provide a solid basis for the development of economic cooperation, protection of the interests of participants and strengthening of the Union’s position in the international arena, taking into account modern geopolitical transformations.
