The global economic and social crisis, complicated by pandemic, is justified by the fact that it is advisable for Kazakhstan to consider the agricultural, processing, food and logistics sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan as a source of food products and their storage.
In the process of studying and researching this topic, the author's definitions of the main concepts of the topic under study are proposed to ensure a systematic national legal and international legal analysis of food security aimed at strengthening the overall national security system of the country, improving the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, formulating food security problems from an international legal point of view, to propose options for their solution and use them for the organizational and legal solution of the problems of food security of our country.
The promotion of economic initiatives by Kazakhstan within the framework of the EAEU, WTO, SCO, the coupling of the economic policy of Kazakhstan's Nurly Zhol program with the Silk Road Economic Belt will ensure the solution of food security problems. Food security acts as part of the concept of national economic security, the essence of which is to ensure the level and quality of economic growth, allowing to meet the urgent needs of people and society as much as possible and to have sufficient state reserves, active payment and trade balances. Without ensuring general economic security, it is impossible to solve internal economic and social problems, influence the ongoing global processes, defending the state interests of the country.
