Abstract

Today, the exploration of outer space and celestial bodies, and the development of space technologies, are of interest to technologically advanced, leading countries and private companies with significant financial resources. Properly organized international cooperation plays a key role in the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan's space industry, which boasts significant potential in the field thanks to the presence of the historically significant Baikonur Cosmodrome. The article examines the main multilateral and bilateral international treaties regulating the interaction of states in the development of the space industry, to which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party, and also explores possible areas for the development of international cooperation in the future. Particular attention is paid to Kazakhstan's cooperation with the Russian Federation and other key partners in the development of the Baiterek space rocket complex. The relationship between national legislation and international law in this area is also explored.
